<\/a>Add Column Transformation<\/h1>\n

Create and configure new columns in your dataset with customizable values and inheritance from existing fields.<\/p>\n

<\/a>Configuring Add Column<\/h2>\n
    \n
  1. Select Add Column<\/strong> from the Transformations<\/strong> list in the Add Columns<\/strong> window.<\/li>\n
  2. Enter a name for the transformation.<\/li>\n
  3. Under Column One<\/strong>, specify the name for the new field to be created.<\/li>\n
  4. Choose one of the following options for column values:\n
      \n
    • Select a value from an existing column for data inheritance<\/li>\n
    • Define a default value using the Default Column<\/strong> dropdown to apply a constant value across all records<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • To add more columns within the same transformation:\"Relevant\n
        \n
      • Click Add Another Column<\/strong> to create additional fields<\/li>\n
      • Use the delete option if you need to remove a column<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
      • Complete the configuration:\"Relevant\n
          \n
        • Click Save<\/strong> to apply the changes<\/li>\n
        • Select Cancel<\/strong> to discard modifications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Once saved, the Add Column transformation is created successfully. The results can be verified in the preview.
