Merge Field Transformation

Combine multiple data columns into a single unified field to create structured composite attributes and standardize identifiers.

Configuring Merge Field Transformation

1. Select Merge Field option within the transformation steps in the Merge Fields window.
2. Enter a Name for the transformation to identify the purpose of the merged output.
3. Provide a brief description under Select The Columns Below To Combine.
4. Choose the required columns from your dataset.
5. To include additional columns, click Add More.
6. Select a Combine Operator to define how the selected columns will be merged (e.g., comma, semicolon, space, tag).
7. Enter the New Column Name for the merged field.
8. Click Save to apply the transformation.

Users can select Cancel at any point to discard changes. The Merge Field transformation enables standardized identifiers and improved downstream processing through column combination.
